Rules
- All seeds should be run blind, with no prior knowledge of the seed. This includes playing the seed, watching other players play the seed, or viewing the show spoiler/download spoiler feature from the randomizer website
- Players may use either original NES hardware, or emulator. Note that you may need a flash cart to run a randomizer ROM on original hardware. Most modern emulators are allowed. Recommended emulators are Mesen, Bizhawk, or Fceux. (Newer version of FCEUX do not work and should not be used.) Any advanced emulator features that may give players an advantage such as save states, run ahead, or changing emulation speed are not allowed.
- Turbo is not allowed
- In the event of a very close finish, tournament organizers may elect to review a run to determine exact finish time. Race winners will be determined by finish time, not racetime.gg time.
- Automated trackers are allowed as long as they do not provide the player with information they normally would not have. For example(but not limited to) showing your subpixel value for floor drops is not allowed.
- All players are expected to play with good sportsmanship.
